Infinix Might Start Manufacturing Laptops In India Soon: CEO Anish Kapoor

When it comes to branding in a highly competitive and price-driven market like India, Kapoor says finding your place in the market means finding solutions to customers' problems. “ The market will always be competitive. We're not just trying to make a product, we're trying to find solutions in key areas where we can make a difference that make a difference for customers, like Zero 20."

“This type of product really stands out in today's market environment,” added Kapoor.

The Infinix CEO also revealed that the tech company is committed to India and is actively contributing to the country's Make in India initiative. We started our contribution to Make in India in 2017. We are one of the brands that sell all products in India. We have invested in SMT lines that can handle 8-10 million units, with thousands of people working every day. All of this reflects our commitment to the vision of Make in India."

He further explained that the brand produces smartphones and smart TVs in India. As for laptops, Kapoor clarified, “Laptops are not made in India because that is the only category that is not found in the region. But we are also working on this. We have been trying to find ways to quickly bring the category to Make in India.

And what will 2022 be like for Infinix? He replied, "2022 has been a great year. We've been able to create a lot of distractions of all kinds. It's an exciting journey to go into segments like laptops or entry-level TVs and make a product. It's like the real journey." .

He added: "I think 2022 has been great and we are really looking forward to 2023."

Referring to the Infinix 2023 roadmap, the CEO of the company said that the brand will likely add its own category as in previous years. He added: “ There is a lot of excitement planned for the brand. You will see 6-7 more releases next quarter. We have a great lineup of smartphones, TVs and laptops.”
